Garmin heeft besloten, na melding gekregen te hebben van onjuistheden voor de kust van Denemarken en Zweden, alle BlueChart kaarten wereldwijd terug te roepen. De kopers worden tijdelijk voorzien van een 2008-kaart en ontvangen de verbeterde versie van de 2009-kaart op het moment dat deze beschikbaar zijn. Lees hier alles over de 'recall'.

Alle G2 en G2 Vision kaarten van Garmin zijn nu in de 2009-versie beschikbaar, Dit geldt ook voor de binnenwaterenkaart. De klassieke BlueChart is vervallen. Sommige kaartplotters van Garmin zijn niet meer geschikt om met de nieuwste kaarten overweg te kunen of hebben een software-update nodig om dat te kunnen. Die software kunt u zelf ophalen op de website van Garmin. Lukt dit niet of geen tijd? Voor € 20,- doen wij het voor u.

The update DVD is free of charge. However, you will need a new unlock code to view and use the new product, which must be requested through our online unlock process. The online user update cost for each Atlantic REGULAR CD-ROM region is $75 (+ VAT if applicable) and $45 (+ VAT if applicable) for Atlantic SMALL CD-ROM regions.
Any customer that has unlocked any previous version of the BlueChart CD product for the first time, after the 1st July 2008, will be entitled to claim a free update within 30 days from the Unlock date..
Also available are the Update CD-ROMs for BlueChart Americas 2008.5 and BlueChart Pacific 2008.5.
